Travel time to Midtown is usually 45-75 minutes, and can exceed an hour during weekday rush. Ride-hailing (Uber and Lyft) is widely available with designated pickup zones; app prices swing with surge pricing and are often $70-120+ to Manhattan, sometimes cheaper off-peak, pricier during surge.

Practical tips: Confirm the meter shows "Rate #2 – JFK Airport" before departing to lock in the $70 flat rate to Manhattan.
