Antalya Airport (AYT) — Taxi Fare Guide
Antalya Airport (AYT) has an official licensed taxi rank directly outside each terminal, staffed by drivers with special ID cards. Turkish taxis are metered (taksimetre), and Antalya airport cabs use a single 24-hour tariff, so there is no separate night rate. As of 2025 the meter opens at roughly 30-35 TL with about 36-40 TL per kilometre, plus a minimum-fare floor.
The city centre (Kaleiçi / Old Town) is about 13 km away and typically costs 500-540 TL, while the Lara hotel zone (around 14-15 km) runs about 550-590 TL. Konyaaltı beach is similar. Because these fares are metered, traffic and exact drop-off point change the total, so watch the meter is running from the start.
For the big resort areas further out, expect much higher fixed transfer prices: Belek is roughly 900-1,300 TL and Side 1,500-2,000 TL by taxi. Ride-hailing apps are limited in Antalya (there is no full Uber taxi service), so most travellers use the airport rank or a pre-booked private transfer, which is often cheaper for resort runs.
| Destination | Approx. fare | Time |
| City centre / Kaleiçi | 500-540 TL | 20-30 min |
| Lara hotels | 550-590 TL | 20-30 min |
| Konyaaltı beach | 550-650 TL | 25-35 min |
| Belek | 900-1,300 TL | 30-45 min |
Practical tips: Use only the official airport taxi rank, make sure the meter is switched on when you set off, and check the fare board at the stand. For distant resorts (Side, Belek, Alanya) a pre-booked private transfer is usually cheaper and stress-free. Carry some Turkish lira, though many drivers now take cards.
